When your B-I-L goes to top 20 or 25, please consider the '68 Opel Kadett "fast"back. Real POS aesthetically and mechanically. Somewhere on the internet tubes there's a very appropriate photo of one being hoisted out of a canal, or perhaps being deposited into the canal for carp habitat.

The original Toyota Scion xB was better looking.

Liked it too, but the rounded corners of the cube look more organic to me. I like the wrap around rear window on passenger side too.

I currently see one that still lives and is driven day in and day out! I laugh each time I see it! Hamsters you know

You may be confusing the cube with the Kia Soul, which has the groovy hamsters in their ads. They are similar.

The first new car I ever bought was a Geo Metro. Not much in the looks department, but I commuted an hour each way to work and it saved me enough on gas over my '72 Monte Carlo to pay for itself. I used to draft behind semi's and got almost 65 mpg. It had a 1000cc 3 cylinder, lol. I once packed my at the time four kids in it and drove it cross country to Florida. I got about 180,000 miles before it bit the dust.

I had one of those. Great gas mileage. Needed an engraved invitation to merge into the freeway tho

Good list. Though I would vote thr FJ Cruiser or Tesla truck over the jeep cherokee.

The Pacer was u-g-l-y. Should be there instead of the Cherokee. Then there were the mega boat cars. Remember the Chrysler Cordoba? Vinyl top, I think 10 miles or less per gallon. My mom had an old Mercury

Cougar that I named the “Enterprise” as it was so huge.

With its rich Corinthian leather? Only reason to buy it was Ricardo Montalban!

Omg, I forgot about him. I Definitely would have kept him busy if he came with the car. AMC Javelin was the one I was thinking of instead of Pacer, which was already on the list. Duh. A friend had a Javelin and she had it for sale for about a year. Nobody wanted it. AMC designers were in the wrong line of work. Should have been designing Tonka Toys.

The AMC Eagle deserves to be on the list ahead of the Jeep Cherokee.
